1. Definitions
When we say Framespik, we refer to the product and Services offered by Navap TechPrivate Limited, a company incorporated in India, with its principal business address at Manjeera Trinity, 7th Floor, KPHB, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. When we say "Users", we mean customers who visit our site or use the Services (for example, photographers and studios). When we say "Clients", we mean end customers or guests who visit or use sites, galleries, or applications operated by our Users.
2. What information do we collect?
Account information: To create an account, we may collect your email address, phone number, business name, and business website. To use the Services, we collect information you voluntarily provide through your account, including information about your Clients that you share with us (such as names and email addresses). Where store or checkout features are enabled, we may collect billing or shipping details that Clients provide during purchase.
Log data: When you access our website or Services, our servers may automatically record information such as IP addresses, device and browser configuration, date and time of access, session duration, and loading errors where applicable.
Usage data: We may collect data on how you use the Services—for example, gallery or event creation timestamps, uploads, communications sent through the account, and feature usage—to operate and improve the platform.
Information from third-party services: Where you connect integrations (for example, editing tools, storage, or marketing services), we may receive information in accordance with the authorization and permissions you grant to those services.
Additional information: We may collect information when you contact us for support, communicate with us through social channels, or use third-party forms or chat tools we provide.
Personal information (including biometric-related data): Some features require personal identifiable information ("PII") to function. For example, where you use AI-assisted photo delivery or face-assisted matching, event participants may provide an email address, phone number, and a selfie. The selfie may be processed to help identify relevant photos and deliver a personalized gallery or link. We use such PII only as described in this policy and in our Terms & Conditions, unless a separate consent applies (for example, marketing at sponsored events only after appropriate consent from the organizer).
3. How do we collect your information?
Information you provide directly: When you sign up or use the Services, you provide account and transaction-related information through your account—including profile details, Client names, emails, photos you upload, and communication preferences. Clients may provide checkout or delivery information when purchasing from a gallery. Guests may provide contact details and a selfie where those features are enabled.
Information from your use of the site and Services: When you visit framespik.com or use our apps, we collect information about your activity and device, such as IP address, browser and device information, and timestamps. Much of this is collected automatically using cookies and similar technologies.
Information from other sources: We may receive limited information from payment processors, hosting and email providers, analytics or advertising partners, and similar vendors—for example, device or fraud signals, payment status, or whether you opened a transactional email.
4. How do we use the information we collect?
We use information primarily to provide the Services you requested and for our legitimate interests in operating and improving Framespik.
To provide the Services: We use your information to operate accounts, galleries, websites, client delivery, AI-assisted matching where enabled, communications with Clients, payments and orders, and other features you configure. This may require sharing limited data with subprocessors who assist us (for example, cloud hosting, email delivery, or AI inference), subject to contracts and this policy.
To maintain and improve our Services: We analyze performance, reliability, and feature usage to fix issues and develop new functionality.
To verify your identity: When you request support or when we detect suspicious activity, we may use account and contact details to confirm you are the account holder.
To personalize and promote our Services: We may use account and usage information for our own sales, marketing, and referral programmes directed at Users. We do not use event guests’ biometric or gallery content to run targeted ads across unrelated third-party networks unless separately disclosed and, where required, consented.
To communicate with you: We send transactional and service messages (for example, billing, security alerts, and product updates). You may manage certain preferences in your account or by contacting us.
To provide support: When you contact us, we use the information you provide to troubleshoot and respond.
To meet legal requirements: We may use or disclose information where required by law, court order, or lawful requests from public authorities, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Users, Clients, Navatech, and the public.
4.1 How do we use the face data we collect?
What facial data does the Service collect? Where AI-assisted delivery or face matching is enabled, we may collect a selfie or similar image supplied by a guest. That image may be converted into a mathematical representation (for example, a vector embedding) used only to match photos from an event. Raw images and embeddings are retained only for the periods described in Section 7 unless a longer period is required by law or by the User’s configuration and disclosed to participants.
How do we use collected face data? Biometric-related data is used strictly for:
- Photo identification and delivery: to identify a guest in event photographs and deliver a personalized gallery or link; and
- Event admission or check-in (where applicable): only if the User enables an access or check-in feature for a specific event and the guest participates in that flow.
Will the data be shared with third parties? Face processing may use subprocessors such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), including AWS Rekognition or comparable services, solely to generate embeddings or matches needed for delivery. AWS processes such data on our behalf under appropriate data-processing terms. If optional features (for example, AI avatars) are offered and you opt in, a clearly identified third-party processor may receive the minimum image data required for that feature only for the duration and purpose disclosed at opt-in.
We do not sell biometric data. We do not use it for unrelated advertising. We do not share it for purposes beyond providing the features described above and meeting legal obligations.
5. How do we share the information we collect?
Service providers: We share information with vendors who help us host, deliver, secure, analyze, bill, and support the Services. We share only what they need to perform their function and require them to protect data consistently with this policy.
User instructions: Where the product is designed to share Client or guest data on your instructions (for example, sending a gallery link), we process it as directed by the User, subject to applicable law.
Business transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction under confidentiality obligations.
Legal and safety: We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect rights and safety.
Advertising partners: We may use limited personal data with advertising or analytics partners to measure our own campaigns or attribution. We do not use your private gallery content to train public ad models.
6. How do we protect the information we collect?
We follow industry-accepted practices to protect personal information, including technical and organizational measures intended to guard against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, or unauthorized disclosure. Examples include access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, network protections, and vendor reviews. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; while we work to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We may retain certain data for a reasonable period after cancellation or inactivity so you can reactivate or export data where the product allows. If you delete your account where the product supports self-service deletion, we will delete or anonymize personal data in line with that flow, except where law requires retention. Aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably identify a person may be retained to improve the Services.
Subscriptions: If you do not renew a paid subscription, additional rules—including permanent erasure of account data if you do not renew within forty-five (45) days after your subscription end date—apply as stated in our Terms & Conditions.
8. International information transfer
Your information may be processed and stored in India and, where we use subprocessors, in other countries that provide appropriate safeguards or as otherwise permitted under applicable data protection laws. Where data leaves your country, we take steps designed to ensure a lawful basis for transfer (such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms where required).
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including exemptions), you may have rights to access, correct, update, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. You can often manage profile and account data by signing in to your dashboard. If you cannot complete an action in-product, contact us using the details below. We may ask for reasonable proof of identity before fulfilling sensitive requests.
If you are a Client of a User (for example, a wedding guest) and want to exercise privacy rights over data the User collected through Framespik, please contact that User first; we typically act as a processor on their behalf and may need to forward your request to them where appropriate.
